The meeting, held in Madrid, was attended by Josep Borrell, former Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy

Her arrival represents, according to COIN and AINE, a "renewing impetus for a profession deeply linked to the industrial, technological, and sustainable future of Galicia."

Santiago Sio, Key Account Manager of DNV, presented the award in the Competitiveness category, which recognizes the impact and relevance of both entities in the maritime sector.

€200 million of the €250 million in public aid, will be allocated to the renewal of the Spanish merchant fleet, €150 million will be used for new constructions.

The ceremony marked the beginning of construction of the 70-meter-long, €57million vessel

The contract covers the design, installation, operation, and evaluation of an innovative technological system for maritime and aerial surveillance

They will participate in the Thailand Marine & Offshore Expo (TMOX) in Bangkok, on a trip organised by Aclunaga and supported by IGAPE (Galician Institute of Economic Promotion) and Xunta de Galician Regional Government

The vessel will be delivered in November 2026
