Narwhal closes a contract with the Russian Army to supply 60 launchs per year
The company from Vigo, will deliver in February three launch models to Russian military men establish the instructions The company from Galicia Narwhal, which production venue is in Mos, just closes a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry to supply launches for vigilance and rescue works. In February three units of the models SV-480, S-750 and Fast-11 will be deliver so the managers of the Russian Army could establish the instructions for each kind of operation.
The factory of Mos foresees to begin the mass production from May with a initial production line of 60 units per year. The total amount of the operation and the final characteristics has not been disclosed because there is a confidentiality agreement.
The contract with the Russian Defense Ministry begun to negotiate by the middle of last year and it could be extended to other countries as Belarus, Ukraine or Kazakhstan, thanks to the contacts made in the Interpolitex exhibition held in Moscow the last November.
The Narwhal general manager, Javier Vidal, said that "the company's bet for the International expansion is based in a commercial effort as well as in the development of new professional vessel models".

Internationalization
Narwhal closed on November another contract with the Morocco Government to supply 130 Ons-480 model vessels of 3 millions Euros. In these cases the launch will be destined to the civil protection service of the country and more than the 50% have been already delivered.
The Ons-480 launches are 4.80 meters long and 2.16 meters wide. They have a 80 CV motor and the total weight is 340 kilos. They are able to transport 8 passengers and the maximum load is 700 kilos.
The Narwhal factory in Mos has also begin to produce 15 units of the SV-750 model for the Mexican oil company Pemex. The hull of these vessels is made of glass-reinforced plastic. The float is removable and made with neoprene-hypalon Orca textile, oil resistant. The transportation of 8 people and a stretcher For the injured people evacuation is allowed.
The Portuguese Defense Ministry has also received two months ago a Super-750 launch.
The Super-750 is a model able to develop long distance crossings.
