JRC Iberia extends its area of responsibility to the African continent
The company has a historic presence thanks to distributors who have driven the brand in remote areas for decades of dedicated effort
From January the first of 2021, JRC Iberia will be responsible for the distribution and service of JRC/Alphatron products on the African continent. For both High Seas and ProLine distributors, JRC Iberia will be responsible for sales and logistics aspects including technical support, training, technical certifications, warranties and spare parts, as well as the restructuring of the network where appropriate. In some African countries, JRC has a historic presence thanks to distributors who have driven the brand in remote areas for decades of dedicated effort.
According to Alberto Olmos, Managing Director of the Spanish subsidiary of JRC/Alphatron in Madrid: "In the early years of our office in Madrid we have worked to consolidate a strong and stable sales and service network in Spain and Portugal, but also in some North African countries. Expanding to the rest of the continent was a natural step in our expansion strategy. Traditionally, naval electronics manufacturers have had a limited presence on the African continent. With the growing development of some countries, our intention is to strengthen the JRC presence on this continent. For this ambitious challenge we have our customers and our customers can count on us".
