Aquasonic Diesel continues unstoppable on Horizon 2020 Project

We are talking about an alternative and more efficient solution on maritime combustion improvement and saving

Aquasonic Diesel is the definite solution to fuel treatment getting an immediate effect towards the combustion improvement, reducing pollution emissions, less use of fuel and economic savings. This technology has been included on the investigation and innovation EU program Horizon 2020, already in an advance phase and progressing successfully with excellent results in every aspect, fulfilling standards set by competent organizations. Horizon 2020 is the biggest invest and innovation program of the EU, up to 80,000 million Euro in fonds available for 7 years (from 2014 to 2020).


Within maritime sector, engines are the ones most suffer due to the high consumption, maintenance and pollution costs. Similarly, they consume thousands of fuel litres every day, that means one of the most important factors.


To get the maximum benefits and reduce boat pollution, it is extremely important that engines burn fuel in an efficient way. Existing market solutions to improve fuel combustion are mainly surfactant/chemical spreaders used as additives in order to homogenize fuel, that up to now a few or non-result have had.
Aquasonic Diesel offers an environmentally friendly solution to improve combustion process. By applying this technology, the physical treatment offers the following benefits:

  • Fuel consumption savings up to 20% and up to 60% on pollution emissions
  • Increase of combustion and power up to 15%
