Navantia culminates laying the keels of the oil tankers for Ondimar

Navantia has completed the process of laying the keels of oil tankers for the Basque shipping company Ondimar being built, to a large extent, at Real shipyard in Cadiz, as well as some blocks in Ferrol facilities.

Navantia has won the contract of four Suezmax tankers and is working to achieve the fifth order, an agreement that the Public Company expects to be reached " in the first quarter of 2016 " , and even a sixth oil tanker " in the course of next year , says in a news release .

The first ship will be delivered to Ondimar Maritime Transport (shipping company of the Ibaizabal Group ) at the end of 2017, after about three million hours of work between the four oil tankers for Puerto Real and Ferrol shipyards as well as its subsidiary companies .
