Freire will built an ocean-graphic vessel for Kuwait
The shipyard from Vigo awarded the construction of a 54.80 meters long ocean-graphic vessel for the ship-owner Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research The contract amount is around 30 millions Euros and its signature is foreseen foe the first weeks of 2014, therefore the works beginning will be imminent.
The vessel has a capacity for 28 crew members, between them 13 scientists, and it will be destined to carry out scientific missions in the Persian Gulf area, as fishing, ocean-graphic and geological research.
Freire was presented to the tender last March and this Thursday the awareness was announced in the official bulletin of Kuwait.
