Navalia Launches Its New International Promotion Plan at Eurosatory

The organization begins an intensive schedule of commercial activities in Paris ahead of the 11th edition, which will take place from May 23–25, 2028.

Just a few weeks after concluding the most successful edition in its history, the Navalia organization has already begun the international promotional campaign for its 11th edition with a visit to Eurosatory 2026, the world’s leading exhibition for land and air-land defence and security, held in Paris from June 15 to 19.

Navalia’s presence at this major international event forms part of the Vigo-based exhibition’s international promotion strategy, which continues to strengthen its positioning in key sectors such as defence—one of the fastest-growing segments within the European and global shipbuilding industry.

In its latest edition, Eurosatory brought together more than 2,000 exhibitors from 65 countries, over 43,000 trade visitors, and more than 330 official international delegations, consolidating its status as one of the world’s foremost forums for the defence and security industry.

Following the success of Navalia 2026, which welcomed more than 22,000 professional visitors and 602 exhibitors to Vigo, the organization is already preparing for the event’s 11th edition, scheduled to take place from May 23 to 25, 2028, at the Vigo Exhibition Centre (IFEVI).

The international promotional agenda will continue over the coming months with Navalia’s participation in some of the world’s leading maritime and naval trade fairs. In September, the organization will attend SMM Hamburg, widely regarded as the premier global event for the maritime industry. Later, in November, promotional activities will be carried out at Euronaval (France), specializing in naval defence; EINAVAL (Argentina), one of Latin America’s leading maritime industry gatherings, where Navalia will also exhibit with its own stand; and Europort (Turkey), a benchmark event for the maritime, offshore, and port sectors.

The international calendar will conclude in December with Navalia’s participation in Exponaval (Chile), further strengthening its presence in Latin America and promoting the 11th edition of the exhibition among shipyards, shipowners, auxiliary industries, and regional institutions.

Through this programme of international activities, Navalia aims to consolidate the significant international growth achieved in recent years, reinforce its presence in strategic markets, and continue attracting new companies, delegations, and professionals from the global shipbuilding and maritime industries to Vigo.
