Navalia visits the Port of Tangier accompanied by Vulkan Spain
The company, sponsorship of Navalia and member of its Board Committee, has recently opened new facilities in Los Barrios, Cádiz
Our sponsor and part of Navalia Exhibition Board members, VULKAN Española S.A., has recently opened new facilities in Los Barrios, Cádiz. Mr Javier Arnau, director of Navalia, travelled to Cádiz to attend the opening and strengthen collaboration with the Cádiz Maritime Naval Cluster and its member companies.
Thanks to Vulkan, attendees also had the opportunity to visit Tanger Med, the newly developed port complex and industrial logistics hub located on the Moroccan side of Gibraltar Strait — approximately 45 kilometres from Tangier and 20 kilometres from Ceuta — where over 100,000 people are daily employed.
During the visit, participants also had the opportunity to tour Jannot Group facilities, courtesy of brothers Otman and Jamal Chakoh. The delegation was further joined by Mr Zakariya Lqati, representative of Direction des Industries Aéronautiques, Ferroviaires, Navales et des Énergies Renouvelables, part of Morocco’s Kingdom Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Finally, the delegation visited Soremar Marine Services facilities at Port of Tangier, where they were welcomed by the company’s president and the president of the port complex.
Navalia has been working for several months on organising a visit from a Moroccan delegation to attend the tenth edition of the exhibition, which will take place in Vigo from 19th to 21st May 2026.
