Lithuania will be for the first time in Navalia

The most important shipbuilding industry group from Baltic region will visit the trade fair in May

Navalia’s Director, Javier Arnau, have met this week the Lithuanian ambassador in Spain, Lyra Puišytė Bostroem. He was returning the visit, almost a year ago, of several companies from the Lithuanian shipbuilding industry made to Vigo and also confirming that the country will be for the first time at the show. The visit will be hand in hand with the most important industrial group in the shipbuilding industry in the Baltic region, Western Shipyard, to which will certainly be joined to more companies in the coming weeks. In addition, in the second half of 2022, Navalia will travel with a delegation of Galician companies to visit this Baltic country to learn first-hand about the industry.

The meeting also served to analyse business opportunities for Spanish companies withing the sector, as well as to study their possibilities in the 700MW offshore wind project that will cover 25% of the country's electricity demand. It is true wind energy has gained great prominence in Lithuania thanks to this large offshore wind farm future creation.
