The Basque Maritime Forum will attend Navalia 2018
The Maritime cluster of the Basque country, which represents 2,27% of the region’s GDP and currently comprising 147 associates representing 238 companies, whose total turnover has been 2.943,5 millions euros in 2016 and has employed 14.738 people, will be an exhibitor in Navalia.
The Basque Maritime Forum is the Maritime industry Cluster of the Basque Country, and meeting point where all the maritime stakeholders meet, like Port Authorities, Technology Centres, Chambers of Commerce, Provincial Councils, different departments of the Basque Government, Universities, Classification Societies, museums and professional associations, among others. Furthermore, the industrial part is also represented and integrated through ADIMDE - Cluster of the Maritime Industries of Euskadi (Shipyards, Merchant and Fishing Shipowners and Auxiliary Industry). The Basque Maritime Forum is a non-profit service provider organisation that represents the Basque maritime industry with the aim of developing the maritime culture, and the competitiveness of the companies from this sector through cooperation. For that purpose, the cluster develops actions among its six strategic axes: Sectorial Articulation, International Projection, Technological Innovation and Business Innovation, Environmental Commitment, Funding and Taxation, and People Empowerment.
