Navalia Meeting 2025-Blue Zone Forum ends up with great success

The military and defence sector rounds off the naval component of the event
The closing day of the Navalia Meeting 2025-Blue Zone Forum served to confirm the consolidation of Cádiz as a Blue Economy hub with a strong, structured ecosystem and significant added value. The high level of participation and international presence were key to this event, which brought together nearly 100 national and international experts, three keynote speakers, companies, authorities, and more than 1,000 participants in the Cádiz capital.
During this final morning of the Navalia Meeting 2025-BZF, Navalia Executive Committee met with representatives from Andalucia TRADE. Of particular interest, and with a strong international presence, was the panel dedicated to military naval industry. Moderated by Admiral Director Nicolás Lapique, the panel included Marta Cobos, expert and ally of Bullhost and Compitte; VA Luis Fernando Márquez, president of Cotecmar (Colombia); Vicente Martínez, construction director of Navantia's corvette and maritime action vessel business, and Javier Gamundi, president of Frizonia.
The combat cloud, artificial intelligence, innovation, and the drive for the security industry were some of the topics covered during this talk, which focused on the Armada 2025 Vision del Ajema document.
Emilio Duró, an economist and leading figure in the business world, was the keynote speaker responsible for closing the Blue Zone Forum Navalia Meeting 2025 with a talk based on positive thinking, offering the large audience some fundamental keys to "facing adversity and living a purposeful life, based on long-term well-being rather than immediate pleasure."
