The Galician naval sector achieves the support of the Brazilian Management to come into its market
Two energy and naval sector managements will promote the Galician companies entrance into the South American country market thanks to the agreements signed with the Chamber of Commerce of Pontevedra Turing the trade mission held this week with the participation of more than 40 Galician brands. Agreements were signed by the president of the Pontevedra's chamber that organize the trade mission, Francisco Moldes, and the presidents of the Organización Nacional de Industrias del Petróleo (ONIP), Elui Fernandes, and of the Management of the Industria de la Construcción naval y Offshore (Sinaval), Ariovaldo Rocha.
According the collaboration agreements, both Onip - that gather the companies of the gas and oil production line - and Sinaval will make easier the access to the Brazilian market for the Galician companies in two of the growing sectors and where most business opportunities come up thanks to the millionaire orders from companies as Petrobras and Transpetro. The agreement is very important because of the demanding requirements needed for foreign companies to participate in the succulent market.
In fact it is an essential requirement that companies which wants to participate have presence in Brazil, therefore the entry strategy includes the search of local partners or the establishment in Brazil, which allows fulfilling the requirement of "National production" that in these sectors reach the 70% of the product value. In the naval sector, for example, the main costumer is the company Petrobras and its subsidiaries, that demand a very difficult to achieve registration for a foreign company. This kind of trade missions were co financed by the Plan de Fomento de la Exportación Gallega. (Source: XORNAL DE GALICIA)
(Fuente: XORNAL DE GALICIA)
