CEN-TRA-MAR presented the engages-reducers of Mekanord

The Central de Transmisiones Marinas, S.A. participated in the boat show in Barcelona The Central de Transmisiones Marinas, S.A. participated in the boat show in Barcelona exposing the most significant products of its represented companies: Twin-Disc, Velvet Drive, Aquadrive, Halyard, Trelleborg-Metalastik, Felsted, Maag, Kobelt, etc. The latest company incorporated to its portfolio, Mekanord, displayed a range of new engages-reducers for its application in ships equipped with variable-pitch propellers. These engages-reducers are used for diesel engines of 200-6,000 HP and they can be provided with high reductions of until 10:1 offering the maximum efficiency. They have the alternative to incorporate takings of force with one, two and up to three exits with its own independent clutches; and in addition they count on the option to incorporate an entrance of force P.T.I. for hybrid systems.
