Alintra Systems strengthens its range of lightweight panels for naval interior design
The company has signed a collaboration agreement with CBG Systems, combining technological innovation and industrial capabilities to expand its portfolio of certified solutions for maritime environments.
Alintra Systems has taken a step forward in the development of lightweight panels for naval interiors following a collaboration agreement with the international company CBG Systems, which specializes in insulation and fire protection in the maritime sector. After years of joint work, the two companies have consolidated a partnership that reinforces the development of lightweight aluminium solutions for the naval industry.
The collaboration brings together Alintra Systems’ technical expertise in the manufacturing and processing of lightweight aluminium panels with the Australian company’s know-how in thermal insulation systems and passive fire protection. This integration enables further progress in technical solutions tailored to the regulatory and operational requirements of the naval sector.
As a result of this alliance, a broader range of lightweight panels for naval interior design has been developed, all certified under IMO MED standards and across different certification levels, including larcore® C-Class, B-15 Lite® and RAC PLUS® A60.
These systems will be among the main innovations showcased by Alintra Systems at Navalia 2026, where the company will exhibit them at stand 2D24.
