Elcome Europe celebrates its fifth anniversary with growth of over 300% since its foundation in 2020

The company has quadrupled its turnover this year and increased its workforce fivefold, consolidating its position as a benchmark in technical services for the maritime sector.

ELCOME EUROPE, headquartered in Mairena del Aljarafe (Seville), celebrated the fifth anniversary of its founding with a corporate meeting that brought together employees from different parts of Europe. The event served to take stock of the company's evolution between 2020 and 2025, thank the team for their efforts and reinforce the growth strategy for the coming years.

During this period, ELCOME EUROPE has experienced 33% growth, going from managing 749 services in its first year of activity to a total of 2,105 today. At the same time, the company has quadrupled its turnover this year. This represents an increase in turnover of more than 300% since its foundation in 2020, reflecting its solid positioning and positive market reception.

One of the key indicators that attest to the company's operational strength is its technical response capacity. Currently, 9.6 out of 10 interventions are resolved on the first attempt, thanks to a policy of high spare parts stocking and a structure geared towards service efficiency. Added to this is the growth in direct sales, which closed 2025 with growth of more than 80% compared to the previous year, confirming the exponential evolution of the business.

The growth in demand has been accompanied by a strong commitment to talent. In these five years, ELCOME EUROPE has quintupled its workforce to 31 employees, thus strengthening its capacity to serve an increasingly demanding and specialised market. This evolution has allowed the company to maintain good financial health and position itself solidly against its most direct competitors.

During the meeting, several company executives highlighted the role of the team in this journey. Álvaro Ayala, Account Manager, pointed out that ‘very few companies have achieved what ELCOME has achieved in just five years, and this is thanks to the team of people who work here’. Along the same lines, José Antonio Sánchez, Service and Technical Manager, stressed that ‘customer service, direct attention and a large stock of spare parts are the factors that set us apart from the competition’.

Pablo Muñoz, Head of Logistics, highlighted the progress the company has made this year in the management and speed of the new ERP, which has enabled better automation of processes.
The day was brought to a close by Paco Rufo, General Manager of ELCOME EUROPE, who emphasised the company's commitment to service. "We are a company that solves problems on board ships. Service is fundamental and the entire organisation must work to support technical service, because that is our hallmark," he said. Rufo also insisted on the need to maintain 24/7 operations and set increasing sales during the next financial year as a priority objective.

The meeting held in the Galia building next to the Port of Seville also had a marked internal character. Beyond analysing results, the company wanted to strengthen ties between teams from different European countries and recognise the collective effort that has enabled it to achieve its milestones to date, with a view to continuing to grow and consolidate its position in the market.
