‘New horizons exist in Cadiz: choose the naval sector', the slogan of the Cadiz Naval Maritime Cluster campaign to attract talent

EThe objective is to send the message that the naval sector is alive

‘There are new horizons in Cadiz. Choose the naval sector' is the slogan of the campaign to promote naval professions that the Cadiz Naval Maritime Cluster has presented and which is part of the Dipuinnova+ programme of the Cadiz Provincial Council. The campaign focuses on young people who are at the point of choosing where to go with their studies and, therefore, take the first step that will mark their professional path, explains the Cluster; i.e. students in their final year of secondary school, who have to decide whether to opt for vocational training or a university degree, or in the Baccalaureate, who have to decide which degree to choose, as well as young people who have completed their studies and are looking for a way to enter the world of work; and unemployed people of any age who are willing to train to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the sector.

The campaign was presented at an event held at the Hotel Q Bahía de Cádiz, which was attended by the first vice-president of the Provincial Council, Juan José Ortiz, the mayors of Cádiz and Rota, Bruno García de León and Javier Ruiz Arana, and the first deputy mayor of San Fernando, Conrado Rodríguez, as well as the regional delegate for Industry of the Junta de Andalucía, Inmaculada Olivero, the directors of Navantia Cristina Abad and Antonio Domínguez Abecia and the director of the School of Naval Engineering of the UCA, María Victoria Redondo.
