Vigo, Galician venue for logistic port companies’ accelerator

Pushed by Puertos del Estado, the initiative launched by a plan to boost sector’s innovation through a capital fund

Puertos del Estado Innovation Area Officer, Jose Llorca has announced in Vigo the objective is to boost innovation invest at port logistic sector by financing up to 2 million Euro per project, which return will depend on the success of this proposal on the market.

This initiative is for entrepreneurs get to know port logistic sector needs and could use their knowledge to meet them and it will also be implemented in other eleven Spanish cities, as he announced. This capital fund eagers to support, in this way, robotics and 3D printing specialists, among other disciplines.

Jose Llorca has advanced the tender issue date is expected to be open before summer and not to be closed until Autumn aiming to give the financial support around the end of this year.

Vigo’s Port Authority President, Enrique López Veiga, has informed this initiative, addressed not only to start-ups but also to companies already set up wishing to open a new business line, has been shown in Vigo this Tuesday to a group of entrepreneurs.
