The Portuguese shipyard West Sea (Grupo Martifer), client of the Galician auxiliary industry, has signed two cruises for a total of 118 million euros. The factory, located in Viana do Castelo (90 kilometers from Vigo), informed the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM) that it had done with the contract of these vessels, which will be twins to the one that is already being manufactured at present. . These are expedition cruises for Antarctica that are 126 meters long and have a capacity for 200 passengers and 111 crew members. The auxiliary company of the naval Panelship (Maderfri Group) is currently carrying out the habilitation of the first unit and according to sources of the company they opt to participate in the two new vessels.
