Barreras wins capacity with the purchase of the Aucosa installations
The shipyard increases its area in 4.400 square meters. The Port Authority approve the change of the concession use
Hijos de J. Barreras, the biggest private shipyard in Spain, has reinforced its capacity with the purchase of the old installations of AUCOSA IN Beiramar, located between the shipyard presided by José Garcia Costas and the subsidiary from Vigo of the Asturian naval group Armón. With the transaction, the company wins 4.000 square meters that will allow to reorganize its production areas and to increase its production capacity. The board of directors from the Port Authority approved yesterday the change of the concession use.
