Metalships speeds up Works in the new vessel for McDermott to begin the sea trials

It will be by the end of the month or the beginning of August. it is specialized in sub marine pipes laying The shipyard from Vigo Metalships & Docks speeds up works in Lay Vessel 108, ship specialized in submarine pipes laying for oil platforms ordered by the North American company McDermott, to begging with sea trials by the end of this month or beginning of August.

This 135 meters long vessel was the first one of its sector hired in Spain after the stoppage of tax lease.
The Lay Vessel 108 is the third vessel that this subsidiary of Rodman group build for this engineering company. The vessel category is pipelay construction support vessel (PLSV). It is one of the technological advanced Project built in Metalships until now.
