Vigo Mayor Abel Caballero Visits Navalia 2026 Assembly Works Days Before the Opening of the Trade Fair
More than 350 workers have been involved since Monday in the construction of the stands for the tenth edition, which will take place from 19th to 21st of May at Ifevi.
The countdown to Navalia 2026 is being felt intensely at the Vigo Exhibition Venue (Ifevi). The mayor of the city, Abel Caballero, visited this morning the assembly works for the tenth edition of the International Shipbuilding Industry Fair, a visit that has become a tradition ahead of the opening of the event and symbolises the beginning of the final stretch towards Spain’s major shipbuilding industry gathering.
Since the beginning of this week, more than 350 workers have been taking part in the construction and preparation of the 602 stands that will occupy the four halls of the exhibition centre. During the visit, Abel Caballero, accompanied by the fair’s president, José García Costas, and several members of the Executive Committee, was able to observe the advanced stage of the work.
The tenth edition of Navalia 2026 will once again place Vigo at the centre of international shipbuilding activity, with record participation figures and a strong presence of foreign companies and delegations.
