Nodosa Shipyard reinforces its commitment to naval innovation at Navalia 2026

Nodosa Shipyard will participate in the latest edition of the international trade fair Navalia 2026, to be held on May 19, 20, and 21 at the IFEVI exhibition center in Vigo (Pontevedra), thereby consolidating its presence at one of the leading events in the maritime and industrial sectors.

The company invites professionals, clients, and visitors to visit its booth, located at No. 1B06, where it will showcase its activities and capabilities in the naval sector, as well as share the latest initiatives related to innovation and technological transformation in the industry.

Located in the heart of the Ría de Pontevedra, in the heart of the Rías Baixas, with more than five decades of experience and a highly qualified and specialized team, they are recognized for the quality and customization of each of their projects. They have delivered more than 300 vessels and carried out thousands of repairs and modernizations throughout their history. The company remains committed to innovation, diversification, and the integration of robotics and artificial intelligence, thereby reinforcing its position as a leader in naval technological transformation.

Workshop on Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence
As part of Navalia 2026, Nodosa Shipyard will host a workshop on “Process Digitalization Using AI Agents,” which will take place on Wednesday, May 20, at 12:00 p.m. in the Pontevedra Provincial Council Auditorium.

The session will address real-world applications of artificial intelligence in shipbuilding and will feature José Ramón Regueira, Commercial Director of Nodosa Shipyard; Faustino Castro, IT & Digitalization at Dokken; Rubén Pardo, Director of R&D&I at AHORA; and Rafael Sanfrancisco, Project Manager at AHORA.

The event will serve to analyze the possibilities offered by AI agents in the optimization and digitization of processes within the shipbuilding industry, as well as their impact on the sector’s efficiency and competitiveness.
