Navalia organizers meet Innovation Norway to agree on Norwegian companies presence in 2024
Navalia has also attended Expomaritt Exposhipping held in Istanbul
The 9th edition of Navalia, which will take place from the 21st to the 23rd of May 2024 in Vigo, will undoubtedly be the most international of all those fairs held so far. The 2022 success has caused many governments and institutions around the world to focus their attention on Spain and Navalia, which has already led to agreements with countries such as Colombia, Peru, and Cape Verde. Paraguay, Netherlands, among others.
This month Navalia's extensive promotional agenda had a stop at the Norwegian embassy in Spain, where it met with representatives of Innovation Norway with the aim of giving Norway a large exhibition ground in Vigo.
Innovation Norway has among its competencies “exhibition activity at business-oriented fairs abroad, including joint pavilions, joint stands or as an individual exhibitor at trade fairs in which there are already several Norwegian companies participating.” In this sense, we will work together to create b2b meetings between Norwegian and Spanish companies, strengthening already existing synergies such as that of Navantia or our Navy.
On the other hand, a Navalia delegation, with the support of Aclunaga (Galician Maritime Cluster), maintained several contacts this month with Turkish companies within the framework of the Expomaritt Exposhiping event, held in Istanbul (Turkey). This year the main topics related to the maritime industry have been the Sustainable Sector and Energy, Intelligent Systems and Digitalization, Financing and Vessel Law or New talents in the industry. The Turkish maritime sector has been a regular feature of Navalia in recent editions, so with this promotional action we have strengthened those ties, holding meetings with the Shipyard Association of this country and we have joined Aclunaga in the presentation of the results and developments of the Resurgam Project.
