Navalia Meeting 2023 successful participation

Las Palmas hosted the second edition of the congress that brings together professionals in the shipbuilding industry in odd years
The second edition of Navalia Meeting concluded with a resounding success in participation, 6 round tables with over 30 prestigious speakers and 300 professionals from all over Spain who exceeded organizer's expectations.
For 3 days, markets such as Oil & Repair, military industry or offshore wind had their time for debate, with the first swords from companies such as Navantia, Astican, Zamakona, Ghenova or Naturgy, to which institutions such as the Spanish Navy, the Spanish Maritime Institute and the government of the Canary Islands joined.
For a second consecutive year, Navalia Meeting also featured two round tables in which all Spanish regional clusters were present. They were able to give attendees an overview of the situation of the shipbuilding industry in their respective areas.
The parallel program of activities also highlighted technical issues, such as the innovative coffee organized by the Canary Islands maritime cluster and which was attended by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, and companies from countries delegations such as Colombia, Peru or Mauritania, which were able to maintain working meetings with sponsors and participating companies.
An event that, ‘is here to stay, and it is already preparing its 2025 edition’ as the president of Navalia stated, with a venue yet to be designated, and with the difficult task of raising the bar the Canary Islands have set very high.
