Excellent news for Navalia management as one of their goals for 2020 is to increase international presence. “We are investing widely in two approaches: exhibitors and visitors. The powerful shipyards confirmations a year ahead to the show is really important for us and it help us to continue working on the same line. We expect to get similar confirmations by the end of this summer”, explains Javier Arnau. “We would like these shipyards get to know our auxiliary industry and bet for them as suppliers”, he pointed out.
Regarding visitors, the organization is taking several conversations with different institutions in order get the visit of international delegations. Cape Verde, Namibia, Argentina, Perú and USA are almost confirmed, and this week Javier Arnau will go to Morocco to get a commercial mission ready. “We are going to meet the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Morocco and with the Spanish Embassy in Casablanca and Rabat. Morocco does not attend Navalia since 2014 and we would like to get them back with an auxiliary industry and country shipowners’ commercial mission. At the same time, we will invite Moroccan Government formally, with the support of ICEX”, asserts the Managing Director of Navalia. It should be reminded Moroccan fishing fleet is eager to an important renovation and Galician shipyards have got a wide experience and capacity to perform this task.
