Navalia 2020, at 80% occupancy compared to the last edition
The direction of the event has already practically filled pavilions 1 and 2 of the exhibition center and will start the new year with the commercialization of the newly opened IFEVI pavilion.
The eighth edition of the International Shipbuilding Exhibition of Vigo cannot close the year with better news. When there is still more than a year and a half to be held, the exhibition space is at 80% occupancy compared to what was sold for the 2018 edition. Navalia's management has already practically filled pavilions 1 and 2 of Exhibition Center of Vigo and will start the new year with the commercialization of the newly opened IFEVI pavilion.
Regarding exhibitors, it is worth highlighting the presence of most of the world's motor manufacturers, as well as the confirmed attendance of companies related to luxury cruises and mega-yachts. In this sense, they will be companies related to materials, such as special resins, ratings, navigators and even companies dedicated to cable and payment television that is included in the cabins. The presence of this new and thriving segment within the naval sector is closely linked to the continuous presence of Navalia in the different meetings that take place throughout Europe, such as Monaco or Amsterdam.
On the other hand, the goal of the organization of Navalia is that the new pavilion has an important presence of international delegations, for which negotiations have already begun. This is the case of Holland, whose ambassador in Spain visited the last edition of Navalia with a delegation of companies, or the United States, which will host in 2020 the first voyage of the new vessel built by Barreras for Ritz Carlton.
The exhibition, which will be held from May 19 to 21, 2020 in Vigo, kicked off its international promotion calendar last September announcing its new image. In 2019, the composition of the new Executive Committee will also be announced, which will begin its work and advisory activity.
