Navalia promotes the cruise sector in 2020 with its visit to the Metstrade Show
This commercial exhibition held in Amsterdam, is the largest in the world in terms of marine equipment, materials and systems
The naval industry, especially that related to the luxury cruise and yacht sector, went from November 13 to 15 to the annual Metstrade Show (Amsterdam), where the management of Navalia held some work meetings in order to arrive to collaboration agreements with clusters and international associations in this segment. The Dutch event was attended, for example, by UCINA (Confindustria Nautica), the Italian Marine Industry Association or the Riviera Yachting Network of France.
Metstrade Show is the largest exhibition in the world regarding equipment, materials and marine systems. It is a reference event for the marine leisure industry, and also works in three very specific sectors: superyachts, marinas and high quality materials for construction.
Precisely in the part of supeyachts is where Navalia has had a great reception, thanks to the construction of this type of boats in Galicia, and the effect that the megayacht of Ritz Carlton built in Barreras is having. And is that during the celebration of Metstrade Show has deepened about the market of new construction superyachts for the coming years. In this sense, there is a forecast of growth in this segment of up to 40% in the coming years, based on vessel sizes.
