Canada plans to build more than 20 military boats
Navalia has participated at the business conference organized by Aclunaga in the Port of Vigo headquarters, executive member of the Committee, together with New Scotland representatives in Canada. Our main objective was to discover business opportunities in that country, especially within equipment and accommodation.
There is a great historical relationship between both countries, therefore, Navalia will assist to the new edition of Defsec Athantic, with headquarters in Halifax, at the beginning of September 2018. We will also visit Vancouver to promote business relationships inside naval sector, especially Offshore and Gas.
More than 20 army boats are projected to be built in Canada, 6 offshores for the Artic Sea and 15 army frigates among them, which means $25 Billion investment over the next 20 years.
Maritime observation, climate change, energy or military sectors are some of the activities where naval industry is more developed and where Galician companies may have major opportunities to get into that country.
