NAVALIA's organizers visit Colombiamar fair trade
The country offers great possibilities for the Galician auxiliary industry Last week Navalia's representatives crossed the Atlantic Ocean to visit Colombiamar 2013 a biennial meeting that gather, in Cartagena de Indias, the most exclusive companies at a national and international level work as construction, design and repair of the naval, maritime and river sector.
The occasion was used to meet country shipyards. Between them the most important was the one celebrated with Cotecmar managers, which is having a big increase in new constructions, especially constructions for the military industry. Nowadays several vessels are being constructed, between them off-shore patrols. This shipyard also offers repair services to different ship-owners and shipping companies of the area, primarily Panama's tugboats or Costa Rica cruisers.
After the meeting in the exhibition, Navalia's representatives verified during their visit to Cotecmar, improvements carried out in its production systems at the same time they met future projects as river patrols or floating lecture halls.
One of the most important future opportunities is off-shore sector, where Cotecmar is analyzing new projects
