Insenaval designs a 45-meter yacht to navigate the Red Sea

The ship will be destined to diving trips and will have capacity for 30 passengers

the engineering from Vigo Insenaval La ingeniería viguesa Insenaval has won a contract for 100% of the design of a 45-meter yacht for the Red Sea. The ship, which will have capacity for 30 passengers, will be used by the Diving Attitude shipbuilder for tourism focused on scuba diving in the area. "We take care of both basic and detail engineering, as well as being a quality manager," the firm's sources explain. The delivery is planned for 2020.

The contract is not the first one that the Vigo company gets in this part of the world. A couple of years ago he got an order for the design of an exclusive luxury yacht of 52 meters for the Saudi family Al Habtoor. In this case the construction was taking place in Egypt, but problems between the shipowner and the shipyard paralyzed the project.

In this case, the construction is being carried out in a shipyard in the Red Sea, which according to Insenaval, "only lends its facilities, since the shipowner is taking care of the work." In particular, the yacht will be 45 meters long and 10.5 meters wide. It will have capacity for 30 passengers and 16 crew members, who will make week-long routes to dive the reefs of the Red Sea.

Insenaval participated in the manufacture of several yachts in the Rías Baixas, designing ships for the shipyards M. Cíes or Factoría Naval de Marín. He is currently in the buoyant niche of luxury vessels with these orders in Egypt and participating in others that are made in the area, such as the one commissioned by the Basque firm Oliver Design this month to the naval assistant of Vigo.
