Pymar creates a professorship vacancy of innovation in the naval sector
Small and Medium shipyards from Spain (Pymar) and the University of Madrid caray out a proffessorship vacancy with the aim of promote innovation in naval sector.
With a disciplinary focus, they are looking for a cooperation of researches specialized on different technological fields that allow finding synergies of knowledge that can be applied to this sector.
Fuerthermore, both institutions will try to identify potential market niches through a situation analysis of this industry national and international.
The general manager of Pymar, Almudena López del Pozo, showed her satisfaction for this professorship vacancy and emphasized that the Spanish naval must “continue working to make from innovation and technology the distinguishing value that allows to improve competitiveness in a global market”
The University rector, Carlos Conde, underlined the “collaboration frame stablished to improve the competitiveness of shipbuilding”.
The agreement also includes several training activities as awarding a grant to the development og final degree projects and doctoral thesis, apart from internships, continuous training for students and workers.
