La Naval will built two suction dredger for Van Oord

With 158 meters length and 36 beam they will have 17.000 cubic meter capacity.

The shipyard La Naval has signed two contracts for the design and construction of the two suction dredgers for the Holland compny Van Oord, located in Rotterdam. Thw awarded the project in fron of other european shipyards. The project will generate a workload of more than two million hours, during the next three years.
These new vessels will reinforce the suction dredger fleet of Van Oord, that have more than 20 units of the same type. Is is a company with more than 4500 employees all over the world and a fleet of more tha 100 vessels. (Source: El Vigia)
