Cardama wins the tender to build a ferry for Cape Verde

The Vigo's shipyard Cardama has just attribute the tender to build a ferry of the Cape Verde Government. The signature of the contract guarantees workload for 200 people during at leas one year an a half. Knowing sources of this business said that "in September at the latest" works are going to begin. It is a date really convenient for the factory, because in these days is planned to deliver the last o the three multi purpose vessels they are building for the Angola's Government. The other two, nearly to be finished, will be delivered by the end of April and in the middle July respectively.

The ferry for Cape Verde that will realize the regular transportation between the archipelago islands will be 70 meters long and will cost 15 millions Euros. The Spanish Government collaborates in the vessel finance. (Source: La Voz de Galicia)
