The company from Vigo Enor hired to install six lifts for a Canadian ferry

Ascensores Enor has just signed a contract with the Italian ship-owner Pincatieri to built and install six lifts and a hydraulic forklift in a ferry of the Canadian company Steamship Line. It will be machines not only designed to meet the European rules but also the American ones, which is much more restrictive in the components certification. This is the first business closed by the brand of Vigo after its incorporation this month to Zardoya Otis Group, which purchased Enor last August. Precisely the Enor experience in the naval sector is one of the factors that were to the multinational interest. As a matter of fact, this experience has been translated into the settle up of a lift international division inside Otis to promote this business area. (Source: La Voz de Galicia)
