Factoría Naval de Marín is ending a 15 millions Euros yacht for an Austrian ship owner
The vessel, 45 meters long, has 15 cabins to house seventeen people Factoría Naval de Marín almost delivers a luxury 45 meters long yacht to an Austrian ship owner that invested 15 millions Euros in the vessel. The external design was made by Reymond Langton Design, and the inside was made by the Italian Design Studio Spadolini.
The yacht, which name is "Follow mw V", has 5 luxury cabins for 10 guests and five more cabins to house seven crew members.
The hull was made of steel, and the super structure was made of aluminium. The inside, made by Spadolini, was built with cherry tree wood, with cream-colored lacquered panels and marbles.
Coinciding with the ending of the "Follow Me V", Factoría Naval de Marín is also finishing the ship "Germania", that will leave the shipyard next days.
The "Follow Me V" was subjected to the sea controls, in which the company Técnicas y Servicios de Ingeniería S.L. (TSIO) act as a consultant specialized in noise and vibrations. This company, certified by the DNV (Det Norske Veritas) and authorized by the DMA (Danish Maritime Authority) for this kind of works, proved during navigation the compliance with the specification regarding noise and vibration subjects.
According the specialized company, "the total compliance has been reached, assuring the comfort conditioned ordered by the ship owner". In fact, the noise and vibration levels measured and certified by TSI are under the ones defined in the vessel specification.
The shipyard from Marín is also working in a 60 meters long yacht ordered by Fernando Fernández Tapias, but it was cancelled because the construction deadlines were not carried out, and now they are looking fr a new buyer. Source: FARO DE VIGO
