Three ships for Norway for more than 150 millions
Metalships launches the first one of 122 metres, the largest in the history of the shipbuilder It is 122 metres long and is the largest ship built in the history of the Rodman Group, situated in Rios Teis.
The ship is envisaged to carry 120 passengers and is 27 metres long, it can generate 10,000 KW of power and has a maximum speed of 16 Knots.
Simultaneously, Metalships has already started building the second ship of the three ships for the Norwegian-Dutch consortium North Ocean, and its completion is anticipated in June 2008. The contract between the Vigo shipbuilder and the consortium was agreed in November 2005, and will mean continuous work until the spring of 2009, when the third and final ship will be completed.
