Marin Naval Factory becomes Daimon Naval
Daimon Naval, directed by Spanish industrial Pablo Comesaña, bought the Shipyard Factoría Naval Marín and Shipyard Marín Apart from Pablo Comesaña, who invested 15 M€, 45% of the capital, other shareholders took part on the operation, José María Suescun- proprietor of Corporación Dermoestética-, who invested another 45%, and Caixa Galicia- through its investment society InverCaixa- with the remaining 10%.
A representative from the Nogueira Group and Pablo Comesaña, general director and delegate advisor of Daimon Naval signed the contract.
The new company, Daimon Naval will use the new acquired premises in order to build luxury merchants of up to 100 meters long. Although the company has enough orders to fulfil its production capacity for the next five years, they will continue to build conventional boats. At this moment 6 cargo ships merchants and two tugboats are waiting to be built.
