New standards for exhaust valves

Man B&W introduces new standards for the exhaust valves. Man B&W has developed a new valve that will increase in more than 50% the TBO of all the motors of two times that do not count already with Nimonic valves in their rank. Previously, and from the introduction of the Nimonic exhaust valve in greater motors MC, the TBO, (Time Between Overhauls), has gotten to be very long, in fact, the 20,000 hours easily can be reached.
