Aister completes delivery of four fishing inspection patrol boats for Andalusia

The shipyard from Moaña has just delivered the last two units, made of naval aluminium and which are almost 12 meters-long

Aister Aluminium Shipyard from Moaña has successfully completed a new delivery. In this case, these are four fishing inspection patrol boats for the Andalusian Regional government. Named Tartesos Tres and Tartesos Cuatro, the firm has completed the order from the Andalusian Agrarian and Fisheries Management Agency (Agapa), which had previously received Tartesos Dos and Tartesos Uno.

The boats correspond to the shipyard's MZ12 model and in this case the first units in this range intended for fishing inspection work. They are 11.38 meters-long and their naval aluminium hull "gives them optimal hydrodynamics, capable of exceeding a top speed of 40 knots thanks to their two 350 HP outboard engines each."
The Andalusian Regional Government assigned the order to Aister last year, with an investment of 1.6 million euros from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).
