Vanguard Marine strengthens its order book and schedules deliveries for the second half of the year
The company advances "decisively" in "all sectors, with deliveries and signing of contracts with special emphasis on the professional market"
Vanguard Marine, a specialist in the design and manufacture of semi-rigid boats, is confirming during this 2022 the trends observed at the end of 2021, with a "maintained increase" in the demand for new boats, explains the company, which underlines the flexibility provided by its shipyard condition "to adapt to the demands of a market in constant evolution". Thus, during this first half of the year, Vanguard has made "decisive" progress in "all sectors, with deliveries and signing of contracts with special emphasis on the professional market".
In this way, in the first half of 2022, several deliveries of boats with double outboard configuration stand out in the archipelagos of Madeira and Azores for excursion companies specialized in spotting marine fauna, as well as units of 12 meters in length with inboard motor and Water -Jet for excursions along the Algarve coast, in the south of Portugal. In northern Europe, the imminent delivery in Norway of a TX-12.0 (offshore model of 12 meters in length) is scheduled for whale and other cetacean watching, equipped with a removable cabin, which will allow it to operate in a cabin in harsh winter conditions and open during the summer period.
For the charter sector, the demand is focused on sports versions for rental and nautical enjoyment. They are boats with synthetic teak finishes reinforced with accessories such as a sundeck, coasters, ladder or bathing platform. For this use, the models preferred by customers are the multipurpose DR Series, with lengths between 5.9 and 9 meters. These are semi-rigid boats with a slightly wide V-shaped hull to offer fast, stable and dry navigation, with a generous beam for greater habitability. The coasts of the Balearic Islands and Valencia concentrated the bulk of Vanguard deliveries in the first half of 2022.
Diving centers in the Mediterranean area also rely on the reliability of Vanguard RIBs. In recent months there have been several deliveries of DR 760 (7.6 meters long) and DR 830 (8.3 meters long) models with different configurations and accessories depending on the preferences of each club.
Lastly, the delivery program for the second half of 2022 consists of several RIBs for public institutions in Spain, vessels with a tender configuration for megayachts in Germany, and units for large Spanish shipyards.
