Metalships signs the delivery of "Regina C"
80m trawler, the biggest built by the shipyard from Vigo
The trawler Regina C belongs already to Niisa Trawl Aps. The ship-owner from Greenland and the shipyard Metalships & Docks signed this Wednesday its delivery, it will depart from Teis yards this week-end. The ship, designed by Skipsteknisk, the prestigious Norwegian technical office (it belongs to ST-118 type), has 80m Length and 17m Beam. Over €50 million invest.
The biggest trawler built in the Rodman Group, commanded by Manuel Rodriguez, who has not built a fishing boat since 2001 that delivered Soloyyag and Broegg to the Norwegian ship-owner Havfiske Fjortoft. Regina C has 6,960kW of driven power.
Regina C has got 6,960kW of driven power, three main fishing winches of 35 pulling tons each, 28 auxiliary winches and 2,350m3 of hold (frozen capacity of 110 daily tons).
Sea Cloud Spirit construction has also begun at Metalships, it will be one of the world largest sailing cruise, 136m Length and capacity for 136 passengers.
