Astilleros Freire begins the construction of the training ship for Indonesia

The shipyard from Vigo Construcciones Navales P. Freire announced yesterday the entry into force of the contract for the design and construction of the training sailing ship for the Indonesia Defense Ministry signed in Yakarta 13 November of 2013.
The main function of the ship will be the training for the Indonesia Navy, with a capacity to put up 200 people on board. The construction means a 70 million Dollars investment and will generate workload for two years.
People in charge of the shipyard felt satisfied after achieve the entry into force of the contract as result of the awarding of the tender which first phase begun in November 2011. Three months ago, the financing agreement was signed and the engineering phase was set in motion.
