Metalships launch the first off-shore boat hired in Spain without 'tax lease'

The shipyard from Vigo Metalships & Docks launched yesterday Lay Vessel 108 a ship specialized in submarine pipes for the oil platforms, ordered by the North America engineering company McDermott. The Lay Vessel 108 is 135 meters long and 27 wide and it was the first vessel hired in Spain after the suspension of the tax lease, with around 100 millions Euros value. (Source: Faro de Vigo)
