NAVALIA welcome tomorrow the conference of the Funadación para o Fomento da Calidade Industrial e o Desenvolvemento Tecnolóxico de Galicia about new opportunities for the shipbuilding ancillary industries in Navalia
This event will serve to introduce growing opportunities for the shipbuilding sector, such as the market in Panama and the impact of the enlarged Canal, the improvement of the maritime safety or the off-shore renewable energy production The Funadación para o Fomento da Calidade Industrial e o Desenvolvemento Tecnolóxico de Galicia will present tomorrow its conference about new opportunities for the shipbuilding ancillary industries in Navalia. This event will serve to introduce growing opportunities for the shipbuilding sector, such as the market in Panama and the impact of the enlarged Canal, the improvement of the maritime safety or the off-shore renewable energy production. The AUX-NAVALIA PLUS Project, co-funded by the European Commission through the Interreg-Atlantic Area Programme, aims to increase the competitiveness of the shipbuilding ancillary industry. Led by the Foundation to Promote the Industrial Quality and Technological Development of Galicia, it also counts with the regional clusters of Galicia (ACLUNAGA) and Pays-de-la-Loire (NEOPOLIA), as well as national associations from Portugal (AIN) and United Kingdom (SSA). The attendants will also be informed about the Maritime Transport and Innovation Brokerage Event (MIBE 2012), which will take place in Santiago de Compostela next June 20th and 21st.
