Vulcano bid for the three vessels unfinished of Astilleros de Sevilla

Managers from Vigo travel to the Andalusian capital to agree on the terms of the operation.
To begin to work on it the following day and to try to sign the first contract in less than two or three months. This was the challenge for Vulcano last 10th, after know the Pymar decision of joining to the agreement, essential step to finish with the creditors meeting. Managers of Vulcano travel yesterday to Andalucia to make an offer for the three vessels that, after its liquidation, Astilleros de Sevilla left unfinished. There are 2¡¡two supply (support vessels for oil platforms) and one ferry. Three are of Banco Santander. The idea is that the shipyard and the bank exchange information for making a firm offer before the middle March.

Sources from the trade union said there are several companies that will try to gain these contracts, but the factory from Teis is in better position because they can "begin the work the day after the contract signature, that will means a reduction in the delivery time".

The interest of Vulcano in the three vessels is still bigger if they will not need tax lease is taking into account.
