Navalia commits to defense sector in its goal of promoting Spanish naval construction

Defense industry in Spain is a benchmark in the world, as demonstrated by the latest agreements signed, for example, by Navantia and its alliance with Austal and Civmec in Australia.

Navalia’s Exhibition CEO participated today in the II meeting of the advisory council of the Defence Industry Cluster (CID) held today in Santander.

Among CID objectives are to contribute the strengthening of the technological and industrial base at the service of the defence of Spain, attracting new companies to the sector; sensitize and educate companies in the sector about the need to join together; collaborate and seek synergies to be able to participate strongly in large national and international programs; and contribute to promoting research and technological development in the defence field, which generally have a dual application that benefits civil society.

Defence industry is one of the main characters of Navalia, as was already proven in 2022 edition, where we have a large presence of Navies from around the world and the celebration of the conference titled “Modelling of Naval Systems”. “Systems Engineering at the Service of the Navy”.

In 2024, Navalia will once again have the presence of our Navy and the companies in its ecosystem, as well as the assistance of different navies around the world, such as Colombia, Peru or Chile, already confirmed.
