Navalia will be present at the main events dedicated to the cruise ships and luxury yachts segment

In September, the management of the International Shipbuilding Exhibition of Vigo visited the two most relevant European events in the cruise ships and luxury yachts segment.
The first stop was in Lisbon at the Sea Trade Med. During this event, the presence of the Port of Vigo was very prominent and meetings were held with shipyards and the auxiliary industry of the cruise ships segment, in addition to a meeting with the new President of the State Ports Authority, Maria Ornella Chacón. Javier Arnau, Director of Navalia, mentioned that he would like her to be present at the next meeting of the executive committee of the Trade Fair, as was the case with her predecessor, José Llorca.
The repercussion in international markets and events as well as the announcements made throughout this month of the building of the mega yacht for The Ritz-Carlton, in the Hijos de J. Barreras Shipyard, has led Navalia to visit the Monaco Yacht Show for the second consecutive year. This event brings together the main designers and suppliers of yachts, where both brokers and final buyers are present. In Monaco, the management of the Galician Fair was able to meet up with some of the designers and transmit the shipbuilding success and quality experienced at present in Vigo.
The next planned destination for the promotion of Navalia 2020 will be Cape Verde, in order to return the visit of the Cape Verde delegation that came to Vigo in May to attend the seventh edition of the Galician Fair and to get to know the situation of its fishing sector. Moreover, Navalia will participate in the Conference organised by the Naval Engineers of Valencia and also visit the Sea Trade Fair in Dubai.
