Canada´s Embassy shows its interest in the Galician naval sector

Members of the Canadian embassy in Spain, have met this morning with important Galician companies from the naval sector, NAVALIA, was one of them. Aclunaga was the responsible for this meeting.

As consecuence of the participation of the Naval Galician Cluster (Aclunaga) in the SMM of Hamburgo, political representatives of the American country met during these days with several agents of the naval sector in Galicia
The naval sector of Canadá was during last decades in a period of low activity. As an strategic sector, for the economy and the national safety, Canadá is trying to revitalize its industry. The Canadian fleet needs renovation, because a lot of vessels exceed the time of recommended life cycle, and taking advantage of this circuntance they have developed the National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy that will facilitate the construction of new vessels.
