NAVALIA participates in the Europort exhibition in Rotterdam

The Spanish ambassador in Holand , Javier Vallaure, encouraged NAVALIA to continue with the spread of the shipbuilding industry in the world Vigo, November 9, 2011- Holland is considered one of the main naval industry countries thanks to their auxiliary industry with a wide international experience, especially in the electronic equipment.

Europort is the largest seaport fair trade in the world and even in the crisis times that we are facing , continues growing healthy. The oil and iron mineral trade has decreased , but the increase in transshipment of containers makes up the rest, moving every month at least one million TEUs.

All the naval industry areas, the inland shipping waterways for shipping in the deepwater marine environment and the dredging industry for fishing industry and in the sea, in the summary Europort. The exhibition expects to be visited by more than 30,000 professionals.

Navalia participates in Europort Rotterdam, where it has already had some meetings with international delegations in the first two days of the fair.

Beside to its meeting with the Holland Marine Equipment, Navalia special guest in 2008 and 2010 editions , have already held meetings with the government of Poland, Finland and Italy and in the next days with the Russian Federation or Panama.

The latest objective is the international shipping industry promotion, which since the first edition is one of the hallmarks of Navalia, and that is reinforced with the actual situation of going into the international market o of our companies.


Coinciding with the exhibition, the director of Navalia, Javier Arnau, had a meeting with the Ambassador of Spain in Holland, D. Javier Vallaure Acha, in which he discussed the situation of the sector in Spain and the bet of the fair for the international promotion.

Vallaure, was the first introducer of ambassadors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, encouraged the Galician sector to continue working, and with his international experience he bet on the international expansion of our industry. Also he gave his support to introduce Navalia in the Dutch market, something complex, but with huge expectations. In 2010 the Dutch shipyard deliveries has increased to 141 seagoing vessels for a total of almost 600,000 CGT and it represents a value of more than 5 billion Euros.
