Indonesian ambassador will visit Navalia 2022 together with a large delegation
New Zealand also joins the list of countries that will attend the trade fair for the first time
The Director of Navalia, Javier Arnau, met a few weeks ago in Madrid, the Indonesian Ambassador, Muhammad Najib, who has finally confirmed his visit to Navalia 2022. The ambassador will be together with his technical staff to carry out several institutional meetings and learn about our industry. The meeting also served to work on various collaborative actions, such as the visit of a group of maritime companies to their country in 2023.
Indonesia Government is carrying out a major comprehensive transformation of the country to modernize it, including all kind of infrastructure. The delegation will travel to Vigo and it is very interested in learning about the development and growth of Spanish ports, and in the construction of vessels for inter-island transport, both for passengers and goods. In this sense, it is important to note that Indonesia is made up of more than 17,500 islands, and many of them need to improve their infrastructure and transport.
Appart from that, a representation from New Zealand has also been confirmed in the last few hours, being the first time that this country will visit the trade fair. New Zealand’s nautical sector manager in Europe, Tom Stevens, will attend from the New Zealand Embassy in Madrid.
